Would you like to support the Rio Grande Chapter campaign to promote clean, renewable energy? How about our outreach efforts such as Global Warming Express? Shouldn't the Public Regulation Commission be held accountable for enforcing New Mexico's Renewable Energy Act? Your donations make all these things happen!

The Sierra Club is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization. This means that membership dues and most contributions are not tax-deductible. This status allows us to lobby for environmental issues and support political candidates. Our membership activities and lobbying costs relating to advocacy can be supported by your non-tax-deductible contributions to the organization.

Regular Donation

Help protect people, animals and our public lands in New Mexico and West Texas. Your generous donation is an investment in the future of our environment and the protection of our most special places!

Political Action Committee

Nothing has a bigger impact on our climate, water, land and wildlife than public policy and the people who set that policy. Help us elect environmental champions!

Charitable donation

Some of our outreach and education projects – such as Water Sentinels and environmental advocacy – are tax-deductible, as are all contributions to the Sierra Club Foundation. Support these activities with your tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation.

Global Warming Express

2018-2019 marks the GWE’s sixth school year, with 15 schools and 18 programs running throughout the state. Help support and expand this program with your tax-deductible donation.

Stop the Holtec Waste Facility

Our chapter does not receive money from the national organization to wage the Nuclear-Free New Mexico battle; it is up to us to fight it. Your contributions go straight to the people fighting this issue.

Donate your car or used vehicle

We make it easy for you to donate a vehicle. Whether it's running or not, your car, truck, boat, RV, or motorcycle will support the Sierra Club Foundation's mission to move toward a greener future with a tax-deductible donation.
