The Sierra Club Military Outdoors Program is a way for active duty and former military to reconnect with each other and with the land that they fought to protect. New Mexico has a rich military tradition, as shown by the higher-than-average number of veterans at just under 10 percent, as compared to the rest of the U.S. at under 8 percent. Join us – veteran or not – on our 2018 outings.
By Terry Owen, Military Outings Program coordinator The Sierra Club Military Outdoors Program wants you! We’re seeking active-duty military, veterans and their families, friends and supporters to join us for outdoor adventures. The mission objectives are to offer participants new
