The unseasonably warm weather helped to make Saturday’s hike to Bandelier very pleasant. We enjoyed great views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains while hiking along the Frijoles rim. We also enjoyed the wonderful canyon scenery as we hiked along the Rito de los Frijoles. The ice on the banks of the stream added some spice to the typically bland stream crossings.
