Saturday April 20, 8am – 1pm
Easy/Moderate hike along the Embudo Canyon Loop trail. There is a $3 parking fee per vehicle. We will walk as much as the group chooses, then back. Beautiful views. Meet us at Montgomery Blvd NE towards the mountains, pass Tramway Blvd NE, left on Glenwood Hills Dr NE to Trailhead Rd NE.Adventurous children are welcome. No dogs please.
Saturday, May 11, 9am – noon
Easy walk along the Rio Grande, starting at Rio Bravo Riverside Picnic Area (south of Rio Bravo Blvd, east side of the river). We will walk north as much as the group chooses, then back. There is shade, and is peaceful (not too many other people). Children are welcome. No dogs please.
Sunday June 9, 8am – noon
Moderate hike to Embudito Canyon loop trail, off Montgomery in the Sandia Foothills. We will walk as much as the group chooses, then back. Shady and cool experience. Adventurous children are welcome. No dogs please.
