Join us on our Spanish-language fall hikes. These outings are on easy to moderate trails, in volcanic rocky areas. Good trails to explore on even terrains with ups and downs. These are very good experiences to share as a family.

On Saturday, September 22, we visited the sculptures that were created after an accidental fire burned 100 acre of bosque fifteen years ago. We leisurely reached the river, admiring ducks, listening to birds, learning about the old cottonwoods that due to water shortage and climate change, will not be able to reach the water table.
The children had fun – and so did we! We chased butterflies, saw jackrabbits and several kinds of birds including raptors, took close look at seeds, observed beetles, enjoyed the open space, the fantastic weather and the information our guides Becky and Hannah from Valle del Oro Bird and Breakfast shared with us.
